Limousine Rental Tips
1. Don't shop for a limousine based solely on
price. That discount limo may seem like a good idea until a 20 year old
rusting beater of a limo pulls up at you door.
2. You still have to pay for idle time. When
you are inside your party, prom etc the limo is outside waiting for you
and cannot be used elsewhere. Expect to pay for this down time and plan
accordingly.
3. It is customary to tip the limousine
driver. The standard rate is 15% but you can go higher or lower depending
on service. Some companies will include the tip in the bill.
4. When you rent a limo, find out what you are
getting. Every limousine service is different and will have different
vehicles. Find out the model and year of your rental.
5. Before ordering your limousine service,
think about what you want. Do you want a specialty vehicle like a Hummer?
Do you want a phone, TV or champagne in the car?
